Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a list of frequently asked questions about RSDFlex Online School. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at flex-info@redmondschools.org or call us at 541-923-8928

  • RSDFlex is the K–12 online school for the Redmond School District. Students participate in live online instruction each day taught by certified Redmond School District teachers, while benefiting from the flexibility to adjust their learning schedule to meet their individual and family needs.

  • Clubs: Students can join a variety of student-led or teacher-guided clubs, connecting them to their peers around the District.

    In Person Meetups: Teachers periodically hold optional in-person meetups for students at our school location in classrooms and outside, and at local parks, libraries, and the local farms. 

     

    Family Connection: Family connection and partnership is a key part of school success. We'll provide ways for families to connect with one another both digitally and in person. RSDFlex Online School will host in-person and video-conferencing events that allow families to build school community and relationships. The Family Teacher Organization (FTO) is a volunteer-based organization that provides resources, programs, and support to FLEX Online students, teachers, and staff.

     

    Athletics:  Students attending FLEX Online School in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to play sports at their neighborhood high school.

  • We are committed to an inclusive and empowering environment. We offer a range of specialized programs, including advanced placement (AP) courses, robust Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, and comprehensive student support services to meet the diverse needs of every learner.

  • We utilize multiple communication channels to keep our community informed, including the ParentSquare app for instant alerts, district newsletters, official school websites, and social media. Contact your school's office to ensure your contact information is up-to-date.

  • Our Student Support Services department provides resources for students with diverse learning needs, including Special Education, English Language Learners (ELL), and counseling services. Please contact the Director of Student Support for a personalized consultation.
