RSDFlex GED

GED Program (RSDFlex)

RSDFlex offers a GED pathway for students seeking an alternative route to graduation. Students may earn a GED certificate or work toward a high school diploma through the GED+ program.

RSDFlex offers a GED Option Program with two distinct pathways designed to meet the diverse needs of students.

The first pathway is the GED Pathway, intended for students seeking an alternative route to completion. Students in this pathway prepare for and pass the four GED tests, ultimately earning a GED certificate.

The second pathway is the GED+ Pathway, which combines GED testing with coursework to meet high school graduation requirements. Students in this pathway complete required classes alongside their GED tests and graduate with a standard high school diploma.

GED Pathway

Students begin by enrolling in the GED program. Students work at their own pace at home as well as come to the Flex Center to receive instruction and support from our GED teacher, who helps guide them through each subject area of the test.

The GED Program includes:

  • Study and prepare for each section of the GED test
  • Take practice pre-tests (can be completed online)
  •  Receive in-person support and instruction at the Flex Center
  •  Schedule and take official GED tests at the Flex Center at no cost

GED+ Pathway

The GED+  program gives students the opportunity to combine GED tests and online classes to earn a high school diploma.

Students in this program:

  •  Complete online high school classes
  •  Prepare for and pass GED test(s) needed
  •  Receive in-person support and instruction at the Flex Center
  •  Work toward earning a high school diploma

*The GED Option Program is available only to students who meet specific eligibility requirements. Please contact RSDFlex with any questions about the program or to determine if you qualify.
