New for the 2025-2026 School Year: Testing for RSDFlex students will occur online this year. This means that students will not be coming into the Flex Center for testing. Students will be testing from their home on their chromebooks.

Date: May 4th-7th and May 11th -14th
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

In order to be eligible to test online we need a remote testing permission form. Please sign and send these to
andrea.hamann@redmondschools.org or pick up a copy at the RSDFlex Center located at Ridgeview High School.

Although students are encouraged to participate in state testing, families can opt their student(s) out of the ELA and Math tests if they choose, by completing the Smarter Balanced (ELA, Math) opt-out form linked below. If you choose to opt your student(s) out please return the form to us by April 7, 2025, if possible so that we can plan appropriately. We also have these forms available at the Flex Center.
In addition, 6th-8th and 11th-grade students are required to take the state science test. This test has a separate exemption form.
