Enrollment for the RSDFlex online program for the 2026–2027 school year is now open.

This year, all current RSDFlex students will be automatically re-enrolled in RSDFlex for the upcoming school year. A new application is not required. If you plan for your student to return to their boundary school next year, please notify us and contact the school directly to ensure all steps have been completed. 

If you have an incoming kindergartener and would like to enroll them in RSDFlex for the 2026-2027 school year, please fill out this Elementary Enrollment Application. Please note that kindergarten students must first be enrolled in the Redmond School District before they can be enrolled in RSDFlex. 

For the 2025-2026 school year, all 3rd - 5th grade students are required to take the Smarter Balanced State test. This includes RSDFlex students. 

Although students are encouraged to participate in state testing, families can opt their student(s) out of the ELA and Math tests if they choose, by completing the Smarter Balanced (ELA, Math) opt-out form linked below. If you choose to opt your student(s) out, please return the form to us by April 8, 2026 if possible, so we can plan appropriately. We also have these forms available at the Flex Center.

Spanish 

In addition, 5th grade students are required to take the state science test. This test has a separate exemption form.

Testing will take place at the Flex Center on the following dates. Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from the school for testing. 

Date: Tues April 21st- Fri. April 24th and Tues April 28th- Fri. May 1st

Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Location: RSDFlex Center

3rd-5th Grade: April 15th, 12:30 - 1:00 PM in person at the Flex Center
