School Supplies

Get ready for the new school year! Here’s what families need to know about school supplies in Redmond School District:

Elementary Schools: There’s one common supply list for all Redmond elementary schools. Teacher-specific lists will be shared closer to the start of the year. Click here to view the school supplies list for elementary.

Middle Schools: Each Middle school has its own voluntary supply list.

High Schools: There’s no official supply list. Teachers may request additional supplies at the beginning of the school year. Middle school supplies are similar to what you can expect your student to need in high school.

Transportation Information

Redmond School District’s Transportation Services Department takes pride in seeing that every child arrives at school every day safely, on time, and ready to learn. A big part of safely transporting students is having everyone aware of their expectations as they ride a bus. Please reference our Bus RulesCode of Conduct, and Parent/Student Transportation Handbook for important information.

Student bus routes and stop locations can be found here

If you have a bus stop request, please submit it via our Bus Stop Request form. Stop requests submitted after August 1st will not be reviewed until mid-October, and the process started to adding approved stops will start.

The Transportation Department page on the School District website contains answers to frequently asked questions, and our office staff is always available to assist by calling 541-923-4891.

Nutrition - No Cost Meals

We are pleased to share that the Redmond School District will continue implementing the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) district-wide.
  • Increases access to healthy school meals
  • Promotes food security by supporting families financially
  • Enhances convenience and participation

What this means for you and your student(s):
  • All Redmond School District students (including Redmond Proficiency Academy) are eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch every regular school day during the school year.
  • To qualify as reimbursable, meals must meet USDA requirements, including at least ½ cup of fruit or vegetable.
  • Families may still keep funds in their student’s meal account for extra entrées or individual milks.
  • Students are always welcome to bring meals from home.

Important Note:
All students automatically qualify for this no-cost meal program — no application needed.
Questions? Please contact the Redmond School District Nutrition Department at 541-923-8238 or nutrition@redmondschools.org.
